The PVCF On-Ramp Program
Our On-Ramp Program is designed for the generally active, injury free individual who wants to get started at Pioneer Valley CrossFit! This one-week program consists of three classes where you will be exposed to our movement curriculum in a group format. We focus on the basics of posture and safety. Our On-Ramp coaches spend a generous amount of time focusing on the proper alignment for techniques. We feel we are preparing you to feel confident at CrossFit and also at whatever life may throw at you!
Please note, if you have pre-existing injuries or are deconditioned, additional private coaching sessions may be required before moving into our group classes.
Testing Out of On-Ramp
We have extremely high standards and ask that all of our athletes remain coachable. Our On-Ramp program teaches the basics and also instills this culture of integrity that we hold dearly. With this in mind, if you have been CrossFitting for more than three months at another location, and you feel confident and comfortable performing basic gymnastics movements (i.e. pull-ups, dips, handstands) power lifts and Olympic lifts (ie. clean and jerk, snatch, deadlift, squat), you can request to test out of our On-Ramp Program. This will happen during On-Ramp “A.”
